Deluxe camping tour is initiated and designed to offer our travellers with comfortable life in wilderness aloof from luxury hotel service. Our deluxe tent of 10 X 10 inches provides spacious interior space made from thick cotton canvas with poly fabric mix and steel poles for extra security, and offers benefits of keeping cool in summer and maintaining a higher temperature during winter. Program for deluxe camping is designed along village sides where it is accessible to motor road as that demands carrying a lot of amenities and the heavy duty unlike normal tents which can carry by pack animals easily.

Upon your arrival our representative will receive you at airport terminal and drive to Thimphu. Later visit to 3rd King’s Memorial Stupa; 12th century Changangkha temple; Takin mini Zoo; Tashichho Dzong, Traditional Craft bazar and National Handicraft Emporium. Evening at leisure in Thimphu city.

Day 02: Thimphu–Trek beyond Pumela Pass (B/L/D)
(Approx.5hrs.). Start your trek above Thimphu valley through pine forest, following old mule track used in the olden days between Thimphu and Paro. It’s a gradual climb about three hours to the Pumela Pass (3000m) then descend to the cow herder’s camp for about an hour and a half. You will have a picnic lunch below the Pass.

Day 03: Trek Jay-dikha (B/L/D)
(Approx. 5 to 6 hrs.) In the morning you will descend to Tsaluna village through coniferous and bamboo shrubs forest for two hours. When you pass through the village, you will see self-sufficient farmers, who produce all their basic necessities in their small farm. Later, you will gradually climb up to Jay-dikha village through cold broad-leaved forest for about three hours.

Day 04– Trek Jili Dzong – Trek ends at Ta Dzong (B/L/D)
(Approx. 5 to 6 hrs.) About two hours gradual climb through spruce, hemlock, fir and giant rhododendron forest to Jili la pass (3300m). On a clear day at the Pass, you could see a panoramic view of the Himalayan range bordering Tibet along Mt. Jomolhari (7314m), Jichu Drake & Tserim Gang. You will also have a spectacular view of Paro valley. Later, descend to Paro by trekking for three hours. At the end of the trek, if time permits, you may visit the National Museum.
